He was born in Elazığ, in 1975. He carried out his whole education process in Ankara. After he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1996 and finished his legal practise in Ankara Bar Association in 1997; he started to study as a lawyer in Ankara Univercity Rectorship’s Legal Consultancy Department. He took charge in a lot of units, concils and committee as a ‘member’ or ‘director’. Alongside of his attorneyship duty, he made ‘Assistance of Attorneyship”, “Attorneyship Regency” in different dates. He made co-head the Center for Research and Practice in Turkish and Foreign Language (TÖMER) between the years of 2001–2004. He resigned from his duty in Ankara University and and opened his own law firm. He lives in Ankara with his wife, Ophthalmologist Doctor Kadriye ERKAN TURAN and twins Ilgaz and Çınar.
